Kerry
Referred to locally as the Kingdom or the Capital of Tourism in Ireland. Kerry boasts of Ireland’s highest mountain peak and is a walker’s paradise.
There is something for everyone to enjoy in Kerry.
Killarney is one of the most visited areas by visitors in Ireland started by Queen Victoria’s visit over 150 years ago.
A jaunt through the National Park is a must on a pony & trap ( horse & buggy ), this is your opportunity to listen to the local people tell you’re their story, tell you about the National Park and it’s native Red Deer herds.
There is so much to do in Kerry, a day on the famous Ring of Kerry, on the Iveragh Peninsula, will give you a great insight of how the Irish people lived and worked down through the generations.
It will also help you to understand how difficult it was for the Irish people at that time.
We will visit a traditional “Bog Village “where you will see and handle the very implements that the native farmers would have used in the ‘50’s & 60’s.
Our journey will take us along the Wild Atlantic Way giving you amazing views of Dingle Peninsula , Waterville, and a view of Skellig Island , of Stars Wars fame “ Let the Force be With You “
Finishing off with shopping in Sneem or just a stroll through the town enjoying some delicious Ice-cream !
There is so much more to Kerry…
